DraftKings NFL DFS Picks – Night/Christmas Games

ben roethlisberger draftkings

Well, the NFL is giving us DraftKings players & analysts a treat – extra games tonight & during Christmas Day – even if it is in the middle of NBA time. Oh well, what a great problem to have.

With this listing of picks, we will have all of the positions all on one post due to the low number of games. With all of that said, here are the picks for tonight & tommorow.

Ben Roethlisberger – QB – $6,700

Big Ben is playing at home with a playoff spot on the line – that alone gives him the benefit of any doubts we would have. Having Le’Veon Bell in the backfield helps to open up passing lanes for Ben, being able to throw to Bell out of the backfield, or making a defense play more balanced, meaning Antonio Brown will have more opportunities to run free & make big plays. Plus, the Steelers are going against a hated division rival in the Ravens. Position ranks & other stats go out the window – love Big Ben here.

Le’Veon Bell – RB – $9,400

Without question, Bell is the #1 running back in the AFC this year with what he can do running & catching the ball. He has double digit fantasy points in every game this season, & 20 or more fantasy points in all but 3 games this year. Great complement to Ben & Antonio Brown as a running back/receiver threat.

Terrance West – RB – $4,400

West has had an up & down season for the Ravens this season, but with that said, he is the #1 running back for Baltimore right now. The Steelers have the 5th worst run defense in the NFL, so West should have decent opportunities to have a good evening on the ground.

Antonio Brown – WR – $8,200

Brown is the best WR playing in this slate of games, hands down. He had a season low in catches last week with only 3 – don’t expect that to repeat itself. Ben will absolutely target him a ton & Brown is poised to have a big day, especially in a national game & in a divisional game.

DeAndre Hopkins – WR – $5,200

In last week’s win against the Jaguars, Hopkins looked like himself for the first time since week 2 against Kansas City, when he had 7 catches for 113 yards. Last Sunday, before QB Brock Osweiler was benched, Hopkins didn’t have any catches.

When Tom Savage replaced Brock, Hopkins was the #1 target again. Look for that trend to continue against a Bengals secondary that has been great against WRs this year, but Hopkins is going to be naturally targeted over & over again, which normally means good things in DraftKings.

DeMaryius Thomas – WR – $6,400

Thomas has had a great season for the Broncos, having double digits in DraftKings points each game this season except for two. DT should have great opportunities to make big plays, considering the Chiefs are 30th in DraftKings in terms of giving up yards to wide receivers. The running game has struggled this year in Denver so look for Trevor Siemian to be more aggressive in getting the ball down the field more.

C.J. Fiedorowicz – TE – $3,700

Fiedorowicz has been a solid target for the Houston Texans passing game this season, even with the bad numbers from Brock Osweiler. He has over 5 targets in 12 of 14 games this season & in 11 straight. Look for the trend to continue as Tom Savage will be working to become more comfortable with the personnel around him. This should be a good matchup against the Bengals, a team that is the second worst team in DraftKings in point given up to the tight end position.

C.J. Uzomah – TE – $2,500

Uzomah has not played on over a month, but he is a decent play here because he is going to be the starter this evening due to the top Bengals TEs – Tyler Eifert & Tyler Kroft being out tonight.

Defense – Chiefs – $4,500
