DraftKings NBA DFS Picks – December 21, 2017 – Shooting Guard

Kris Dunn DraftKings NBA

Good shooting guard options for Thursday night in DraftKings NBA. Some of the top scorers in the league are going tonight. Enough talk, lets get to the picks.

DraftKings NBA DFS Picks – December 21, 2017 – Shooting Guard

Kris Dunn – $7,300

Dunn has been one of the pleasant surprises of the NBA season for the Bulls. He has been a key part of the Bulls 6-game winning streak lately. Eight of his last ten games he has over 30 DraftKings points with a ceiling of 43 & floor of 23.

Dunn & his backcourt partner Justin Holiday have given the Bulls new life. With Nikola Mirotic & Bobby Portis playing well too, this is a Bulls team that can cause some trouble. Going against the Cavs, Dunn should have a strong night, given the Cavs give up easily the most points to the two-guard position in the league.

DeMar Derozan – $8,800

When it comes to overall consistency, the backcourt of the Raptors – Kyle Lowry & DeMar Derozan has been one of the best in the NBA. He has one game under 40 DraftKings points in the last ten games. He had 37 fantasy points in the one previous game against Philadelphia earlier in the year.

The Sixers have not done well defending against shooters. They are the 7th worst team in the NBA in terms of defending shooting guards overall, and the Sixers are not defensively strong yet to give equal attention to guards the caliber of Lowry & Derozan.

Jaylen Brown – $5,500

Depending on how severe Jayson Tatum’s hand injury is, Jaylen Brown stands to become the second scoring option to Kyrie Irving. Last night he has 26 points, 5 rebounds & an assist over 33 minutes. Pay attention to Tatum’s condition throughout the day, but at $5,500, Brown is a solid play either way.

(Right now – as of 5:47 P.M ET – Brown is questionable & Tatum is a go tonight)

Tyreke Evans – $7,600

Evans is a guy who is seeing strong usage & is handling the ball for most of the offensive sets with Mike Conley out. He has had some bad games (two games under 20 DraftKings NBA points in last 10) but he has several 50 point DK games, including a 63 point night. Devin Booker from the Suns is out & both teams are not heading anywhere soon.

Evans is a guy who plays over 30 minutes a night & puts up nearly 20 shots a night. That shouldn’t change against Phoenix tonight.
